A Brief Introduction to Da Fen Oil Painting Village
  Dafen Oil Painting Village,under the governance of Buji Street.Longang district ,Shenzhen,has an area of 4 square kilometers and more than 300 indigenous residents ,in 1989 ,Mr.huangjiang,a HongKong artist came to Dafen Village ,He rented residential buildings and hired art students and artists for creation,reproduction,collection and export of oil painting to Dafen village,and soon,Dafen Oil Paintings has become a famous cultural brand in China and abroad.

Since 1998,the district and town governments began to turn Dafen Oil Painting Village into a key project for cultural construction,injecting investments in different periods of time into environments renovation,providing regulations and guidance for the oil painting market,strengthening promotion and publicity,and upgrading Dafen Oil Painting Village into a unique brand of cultural industry.At present ,there are close to 700 galleries and over 5000 artists and painting workers in the village.The sells traditional Chenese paintings,calligraphy works,sculptures,painting frames,art crafts,colors,etc.Now an oil painting industry with Dafen Oil Painting Village as the center has come into being,radiating Fujian,Guangdong,Hunan,Jiangxi,Hong kong and Macao,And the oil paintings of the village have grasped a large share in the world market,including Europe,America and Africa.
